The project involved high-quality enhancements to the public realm for Market Square in Roscrea, Co. Tipperary. Market Square is at the intersection of Main Street and Castle Street. The works included upgrading of pedestrian facilities, junction re-configuration (change of junction priority to better cater for traffic flows on Main Street), carriageway narrowing, drainage, provision of a loading bay, street furniture, street lighting, signage, landscaping and utility diversions. Roadplan provided the following services to Tipperary County Council: preliminary & detailed design, Part 8 planning, tender management, construction administration and supervision and Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP).
